Effects of mobile phone on youngsters

Effects of mobile phone on youngsters.
  •   Cell phone in Pakistan.
The cell phone was launched in Pakistan about 26 years ago in 1994. It changed the world. It has changed the history of the phone forever and ever. The cell phone industry is a growing industry in Pakistan. PTA (Pakistan telecommunication authority) is the regulatory authority in Pakistan. It regularizes all the issues regarding phones in Pakistan.
  • Cell phone companies and sim card
About 4 companies are working in Pakistan. They all compete with one another. Their representatives are distributing sim cards on every corner of the cities, towns and villages free of cost. Actually, they are not giving these sim cards free of cost. They are costing the future of our youngsters. Which is so precious for us. When will we be able to understand the plan of these companies against our nation and country? Our present Govt has taken some steps in this regard but more steps should be taken to minimize this evil.
  • Cell phone & youngsters
The cell phone is purely a device which is made for the benefit of humanity. Its use depends on us. Like any other device, it also has its uses and abuses. According to a survey of 2019 only in Pakistan, 152 million cell phone is being used. While in Pakistan 64 per cent population is consist of youngsters. It reveals that youngsters use a cell phone more than old. Its a fact the cell phone is being used mercilessly in Pakistan by youngsters.38 per cent Pakistani use cell phone for 2 hours daily. In Pakistan, we are spending RS. 93.6 billion on import returns per year.
I have witnessed the misuse of the cell phone in Pakistan at large scale. Teenage youngsters carrying a cell phone and using it aimlessly. We haven't any justification in this regard. Parents are full unaware of the harms of its use. Some youngsters who are playing games on it are losing their eyesight rapidly, on the other hand, we are also paying for our loss. There are a lot of shops having a computer and such data for these youngsters. There is no check and balance for these shops and shop keepers. These shop keepers have a variety of movies, games, dramas and songs in every language of Pakistan. All these activities are distracting our youngsters from their path. These distracted youngsters want to fulfil their cell phone requirements by hook or by crook. Therefore they become thief, pickpockets, smugglers and even robbers or terrorists. Have we ever ponder over it? The answer is not at all. Where are we going and is it our destination? Again the answer is not at all. Our Pakistani who are working in foreign countries are less educated and they try to show their love for their children by sending or buying for them cell phone or tablets. Is it a right way to show love for the totally innocent children, their parents are pushing them in this blog land? When a child becomes its edict parents start crying for him/her but all in vain.
  • Our duties
I think we should spend this money on their education and for their welfare not for their destruction. There is no need for any cell phone, tab and laptop before the age of 18-20. A university student should be allowed to have any such device. A child who is fully unaware of his/her good or bad should not be allowed to use these devices. If some are they should be allowed only for specific time and time should be monitored carefully.
Govt should make laws for the shopkeepers and customers and apply them forcefully on them. We are living in a developing country and we are developing nation.
Being a developing nation we should think over it again and again. The student having such devices should be discouraged in every possible way. Parents should be educated via TV and the internet. Immoral material should be banned or removed from the internet or such sites should be blocked forever and ever. Everyone should act as a responsible hand and we all should help our Govt. in this regard.
If we start acting with responsibility on these points soon we will be strong morally and economically. This is the need of the hour that our youngsters should be in schools, colleges and universities. They should have the pen in their hands instead of such devices those are extremely harmful to them, their families and even for their country and nation. Youngsters are the pride of the nation so please do not let your pride to be your shame.
