Effects of Corona on youth, labour & Educational institutions

Effect of Corona on youth, labour & Educational institutions

As everyone knows corona effects on old people & children badly but in developing countries as Pakistan it affected our youth more than old people & children. On 14th March the Government of Pakistan decided to put the country in lockdown. Schools, Colleges & Universities were closed till further orders. The youth came home & their wait started for opening their institutions. As corona prolonged, the youth began to astray from their right path. Some started playing games on Pcs & laptops. Some of them started using mobile phones & others began to roam the late night. I think corona affected our youth badly, we would not be able to recover all these drawbacks in the coming years.

"As Quaid e Azam had said “Education is a matter of life & death for us"
Today it can rightly be said we are going forward to our death. No one knows what would happen to our youth in the coming years. Who would be responsible for this "corona or our policymakers “This epidemic has fully changed the world.

Effect on daily wages labour

On the other hand, the most affected people are the people who are daily wages labourer, vendor & street hawker. These are the people who eat what they earn. These are the people those are living in miserable conditions. The conditions are intolerable for them & their innocent children. Our Govt has helped them with 12000 RS which is a good gesture of our Govt. but is it enough for their families? I would like to say "not at all” it would be enough for a month while two & a half month has passed. There is no public transport for long routs on roads, people who were working in far off cities had to pay what they had to the truck or trawler driver to reach their home for Eid. Their families had been living in pitiable condition since 15th of March 20. Only God knows better when this condition will come to an end or their life.

Effect on private educational institutions

The other group of people which is more effected is private educational institutes. This group is playing a vital role in the development of the country. Millions of students are studying in these institutions. Schools, colleges and universities were closed on the 14th of March 20. Govt also ordered these institutions to pay full salaries to their staff which was the right decision. But parents of the students are not cooperating with these institutions. Put the affected people aside, other than those are also search for a safe escape.
School is not only the name of the fore wall around it. Many other people also depend on them, their teachers, gourds, night watchman & peons. Nobody is taking responsibility. By God, they all are white-collar people who can’t beg & can’t ask anyone. The way which is left for them is suicide which they are committing. Our Govt has given relief to every other group except private educational institutions. Why this is being done with them no one knows the reason. If our present Govt wants to destroy these institutions, what would be the next step to provide the students & staff with the alternate of these institutions while Govt institution is already crowded?
I would suggest Govt should reopen these institutions according to govt SOPs so that their concern alleviate & they could start their work again if it is not possible then provide them relief package for the survival of the owners & staff of these institutions.
